Small practice. Big-company experience.
My Custom Software is a small operational-tech practice running the day-to-day software that schools, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations depend on — the unglamorous work that lets the people running these organizations focus on what they’re actually there to do.
The three things behind how we work.
Honest pricing. No annual contracts.
Monthly tiers are month-to-month. One-time projects are fixed scope, fixed fee. If we stop being useful, you stop paying. Ten-plus years in business not gaming this.
Service first. Software second.
We reuse tools across clients. You pay for the outcome, not for a license you have to learn. The systems belong to the org, not to whoever’s there today.
If we wouldn’t recommend it, we won’t sell it.
Sometimes that means "use a free tool and call us in six months." Long-term client relationships are the reason we work this way.
We’re not the right call if…
- You want the cheapest option. We’re priced for organizations that want to stop dealing with this.
- You want a vendor who says yes to everything. We’ll tell you when something’s not worth doing.
- You want a twelve-month contract. We work month-to-month — if it stops being useful, you stop paying.
If those three sound right, we’re probably a fit. Tell us what’s broken below.
Tell us what’s broken.
Or what’s about to break. We’ll tell you whether it’s something we do — and how fast.
