My Custom Software Inc. — internal bookkeeping tool
This application is an internal tool used by My Custom Software Inc. to reconcile transactions across Stripe, Mercury Bank, and QuickBooks Online for the purpose of preparing tax filings and maintaining accurate books. It is not a public-facing application and is used only by the company owner.
The application reads transaction data from QuickBooks Online via the Intuit Developer API and writes journal entries to correct categorization errors. All data remains within the company’s own infrastructure and is not shared with third parties.
Functionality
- Read transactions, accounts, customers, vendors, and reports from QuickBooks Online
- Write journal entries to apply categorization corrections (dry-run by default; explicit owner approval required for each write)
- Reconcile QuickBooks data against Mercury Bank exports and Stripe payment data
- Generate CPA-handoff packages for tax filing
